Chile Recap

The Pulseline team just got back from our second season of heli-skiing in Chile. We were joined by an incredible crew from Colorado and California.

While the snow levels were a bit higher than the last two seasons, we found great soft snow conditions all week – a testament to the reasonably high altitude options in the zone. We continued to explore new areas, logging around 80 percent of our runs as first descents all within about a max 14-minute flight from the lodge. This place continues to show incredible potential, and we’re sure there are still many incredible zones still waiting to be discovered and skied. Coming home each day to the lodge at lower elevations with cold beer, appetizers, warm temperatures and green grass and flowers blooming provides a stunning contrast to the snowy peaks above.

This trip is a bit more adventurous than most as we are deep in the Andes and accessing the lodge is a bit of an adventure on its own. However, the accommodations include nine hand-built, very comfortable cabins. There are wood burning stoves which keep the cabins warm, hot showers, plus solar provides plenty of electricity and Starlink powers the WiFi. Most guests get their own rooms, and no one has to share with more than one other guest.

Dinners are filled with delicious Chilean food and lots of stories and laughter.

Our guests this year told us our current descriptions and imagery don’t come close to doing this place justice. We agree and are working on it. In our defense, it is really hard to capture this unique place in words or pictures. With white peaks towering above, a waterfall and a river running through the property on a hillside, in this massive remote green valley – it is difficult to capture the incredible scale and feeling of this place.

We are super excited already for 2026. We hope to be setting dates and pricing for next year in the next few weeks. I would highly recommend joining us next year.
