GoProSnow Giveaway: Win a Heli-Ski Trip to Alaska with Pulseline

We’re partnering with Pulseline Adventure this season to give a lucky #GoProSnow winner + a friend the heli-ski experience of a lifetime. Send us the best ski or snowboard footage you’ve captured on your GoPro for a chance to explore the peaks of Valdez, Alaska.
How to Enter:
- Submit your favorite shots on the slopes to GoPro.com/Awards by February 15th, 2023. Make sure to select the “GoProSnow” drop down to ensure that your footage is properly entered.
- One winner will be selected and contacted via email the third week of February. You and a friend will embark on this bucket-list worthy journey and snag some new GoPro gear to take along for the ride.
What You’ll Win:
- 3 days of heli-skiing for you and a friend throughout the mountains of Valdez, Alaska.
- Round-trip air fair for one #GoProSnow Challenge winner and a friend to and from Alaska.
- Lodging at the New Totem Hotel for one #GoProSnow Challenge winner and guest. Dinner included for 3 nights.
- Gear for one #GoProSnow Challenge winner and up to one guest, including: avalanche pack, beacon, shovel + probe. Please note that ski/snowboard, boots, jackets, pants, goggles, appropriate layering, and other outerwear items are not included. DPS powder skis are available, but inventory is limited.

- Due to travel restrictions, this giveaway is limited to North America participants only.
- This is not a luck-based giveaway; skill will be heavily considered in our selection process. There are no age requirements, but it is essential that #GoProSnow Challenge winner and friend are able to confidently backcountry ski/snowboard.

#GoProSnow Challenge Official Rules
Here are the terms and conditions which apply to the “#GoProSnow Challenge”. Please read these terms carefully as they contain important items participants should know. These terms are final, binding, and winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.

One (1) winner will be selected. GoPro will notify the winner via email in February. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) is as set forth below. Prize: Pulseline Adventure, LLC (“Pulseline Adventure”) is providing one vacation package for two in Alaska. GoPro is providing roundtrip airfare for 2 from anywhere in North America to Valdez, Alaska and 2 HERO11 Black camera bundles. The vacation package includes: 3-day Heli-Ski trip for 2 (Pulseline’s Freeskier Quick Hits – 3 Day Heli-Ski Trip Package), Dinner for 3 nights. Available dates are 3/11/23 – 3/14/23, 3/14/23 – 3/17/23 or 4/22 – 4/25/23. The vacation package includes: 3-day Heli-Ski trip for 2, Dinner for 3 nights. Blackout dates may apply. The ARV is $9,700. Roundtrip airfare for 2 from anywhere in North America to Valdez, Alaska. The ARV is $2500. Each HERO11 Black camera bundle includes: HERO11 Black camera, carrying case, Enduro Rechargeable Battery, curved adhesive mounts, mounting buckle + thumb screw and USB-C cable, a spare Enduro rechargeable battery, The Handler, Head Strap + QuickClip, and a 32GB microSD memory card. The ARV is $980 for both bundles. Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be sold or gifted, may not be redeemed for cash, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Extensions to expiration dates will not be granted. 1. Who can play?
The “Promotion” is open globally and can be restricted by laws in certain places, countries, or regions of the World. Further, the “Promotion” excludes GoPro’s and Pulseline’s employees from entering in the Promotion.
2. How do I enter?
To submit content, navigate through the GoPro Awards portal, located at www.gopro.com/awards during the Promotion period and select the option for the #GoProSnow Challenge.All submissions are subject to these Rules and the GoPro Awards Terms and Conditions.
By submitting content through the GoPro Awards portal, Submitters agree to these Rules, and the GoPro Awards Terms and Conditions applicable to that program, including the license agreement contained therein.Further, we advise you to consult the judging criteria listed below. Also, please note no purchase will be necessary to enter.
Additional Submission Requirements: By entering a photo or video, you certify that the video is one’s original content, and the content does not infringe on any 3rd party’s rights. If 3rd parties (friends, family, strangers, or children) do appear in the video, we ask for you to receive permission to use their image. No mail-in entries will be allowed and any use of automatic programming to submit entries will be void. Finally, please make sure the video is appropriate and in line with GoPro’s brand—use your best judgment!
3. What happens to my submission?
Generally, GoPro will receive a standard copyright license from you when you submit your content in the Promotion (see below for more details on this license). By submitting a video, you consent to GoPro editing, re-using, storing, reproducing, and modifying your content through our medium for both commercial and non-commercial purposes. If you win the Promotion, GoPro and Pulseline Adventure can use your name and photograph for future marketing purposes. Finally, additional compensation is not expected and GoPro will not be responsible for 3rd party’s use of your content.

Copyright License: You hereby grant to GoPro and Pulseline Adventure and their respective licensees, and successors a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, fully paid-up, royalty free right and license, with the right to sublicense for the purpose of this competition and marketing materials. Basically, GoPro will receive a license to use your video as we please when you submit through the Promotion. Again, GoPro will act in good faith with our privacy policy regarding your personal information.
4. How does GoPro pick the winner?
We will rely on a panel of talented judges from GoPro’s marketing team. This panel will pick each winner based on the particular criteria applicable for the Promotion with an emphasis on skill needed to produce the content. Our judging criteria will consist of Performance and style (25%), Composition and framing (25%), and Overall creativity (50%).We emphasize luck will play no role in this decision as our judging gurus make the final call relying on their expertise in this field.
Be aware the judges will not be required to provide feedback on each video and reserve the right to disqualify any video which is improper, unlawful, or breaks any rules of the competition.
5. How will I find out if I win?
GoPro will send the good news by email. After this, GoPro may require the winner to sign an “Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release” within ten (10) days of date of receipt.
We promise to do our best to locate and communicate with you if you are the winner. If we cannot confirm your identity within three months or any other disputes arise, we will contact the next best entry.
Winner List: For a list of the prize winners, which will be available seven (7) days after the announcement of the winner, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Prize Winners, GoPro, 3025 Clearview, San Mateo, CA 94402 within sixty (60) days of the last day of the Promotion.
6. What do I receive if I meet the judge’s lofty standards?
The prizes to be awarded from the Promotion are as set forth in the “Prizes” listed on the first page or on any public message from GoPro around this Promotion. Keep in mind the winners will be solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes for the prizes. Further, no substitution of prizes is permitted except if a prize is unavailable and the winner is solely responsible for any incidental expenses.
Moreover, GoPro, will not be responsible for use of the prize which is:
- Unreasonable and unforeseeable loss
- Loss not caused by a breach of our duty or not caused by our negligence
- Losses caused by factors which cannot be reasonable considered or outside of our control
- Any losses caused by your own negligence
If travel is included as a prize, and unless specifically stated in GoPro’s messaging around the Promotion, winners are responsible for all other costs and expenses associated with the prizes, including, but not limited to, transportation, transportation/transfers to and from their respective residences, airports, and hotels; any taxes, duties, fees, or other charges imposed by airlines, hotels and governmental bodies; food; gratuities; personal conveniences and expenses; and insurance.All travel dates and travel and hotel arrangements are subject to change and availability, holiday and blackout dates. Additional travel conditions, limitations, and restrictions may apply. GoPro and sponsors are not responsible for flight cancellations or delays. GoPro and sponsors will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, certificates, or prize items.
Finally, by accepting a prize, each winner further agrees to release GoPro and sponsors, from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind to both the prize itself and any damage arising out of or in connection with winners' participation in this Promotion or with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize. Assumption of Risk: BY PARTICIPATING, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE PARTICIPATING AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THAT NONE OF GOPRO, PULSELINE ADVENTURE, NOR ANY SPONSOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PHYSICAL HARM OR DEATH THAT MAY BEFALL YOU AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION. YOU SHOULD NOT EXPOSE YOURSELF OR OTHERS TO ANY DANGEROUS, HARMFUL OR ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR OR ACTIVITY AT ANY TIME DURING THIS PROMOTION. PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL APPLICABLE LAWS.
Waiver of Liability: by participating in this Promotion, you further agree to waive, release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless GoPro and its parent and Pulseline Adventure, and their respective affiliated companies and subsidiaries and their respective directors, managers, officers, employees, sponsors and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, and helicopter providers, and assigns, and any other organizations related to the Promotion, including, but not limited to, non- sponsors (together, the “Released Parties”), from and against, any claims, injuries (including death), loss, expenses or damages and/or liabilities of any nature that in any way arise in whole or in part from the acceptance, possession, use or enjoyment of a prize or parts thereof, participation in the Promotion, or in any prize-related activity, including, without limitation, any (i) condition caused by events beyond GoPro’s or Pulseline Adventure’s control that may cause the Promotion to be disrupted or corrupted, (ii) injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Promotion, (iii) printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion, (iv) electronic, network or computer failures or malfunctions, or other hardware, software or technical errors of any kind, including undeliverable messages resulting from any form of active or passive email filtering by a user’s Internet service provider, lost, late, delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, or misdirected messages, any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation in the Promotion or for other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion or the processing of submissions.
