Find Your Pulse.

Rip the Incredible Terrain of Valdez

Every spring, the world’s best skiers go north to Valdez for the raw, uncompromising terrain of Alaska’s Chugach Range.

For three seasons, Pulseline has proudly guided and supported the ski athletes of the Natural Selection Tour in this legendary place — and we’ll be hosting them again this March.

Immerse yourself in the Natural Selection Tour Ski competition, watch the event live, enjoy dinner with the athletes, ski the best terrain on the planet, and learn why Travis Rice and NST continue to come back to Alaska.

Travis Rice and NST invite YOU on this once-in-a-lifetime VIP trip to Valdez for NST Ski Alaska. Hosted in partnership with Pulseline Adventure, guests are invited to join for a private week of heli skiing / snowboarding for 8 in Valdez - where deepsnow, massive terrain, and expert guiding set the stage for an unforgettable adventure.

Join us while NST is in town with our freeskier program that overlaps with the competition window. Have a chance to interact with the athletes, and NST staff around Valdez. Limited seats available. (March 14 - 21).

Built in the Chugach.

Pulseline is a guide-owned heli-skiing and mountain adventure company born in Valdez, Alaska.

Our guides live year-round in places like Tahoe, Jackson Hole, Europe, and Summit County — skiing storm days, raising families, building community, and living the mountain life locally.
And every spring, we migrate north to the Chugach.

Because this place demands more.
More humility. More judgment. More respect.

The same terrain that challenges the world’s best athletes is where we’ve built our craft.

Why the Natural Selection Tour Matters to Us

The Natural Selection Tour doesn’t just showcase skiing — it honors decision-making, composure, and creativity in consequential terrain.

That’s where Pulseline fits in.

Our role isn’t to be seen.

It’s to make sure athletes can focus completely — on line choice, snow texture, and movement — while we quietly manage logistics, safety, terrain, and weather in one of the most complex mountain environments on earth.

We’ve dedicated our lives to this profession.

A Shared Ethos

The athletes you watch on the Natural Selection Tour aren’t chasing tricks.

They’re responding to terrain.

Pulseline is built on the same idea:

Exploration — full of curiosity, wonder, and discovery

Soul — finding moments that resonate beyond skiing

Human connection — trust built through shared experience

Professional judgment — calm, quiet, expertise without ego

We don’t believe the mountains are a backdrop.

They’re the point.
