Lynn Kennen
Lynn grew up in New England where she developed a love for the outdoors in her father’s plant nursery. She started teaching skiing at the age of 13 at her local hill in Massachusetts, Wachusett where she could share her passion with others. After a degree in Recreation Management and Environmental Conservation at the University of New Hampshire she moved west to find bigger mountains and better snow.
Moving forward with her dream and passion to work and play outdoors every day she started competing as a skier on the IFSA Big Mountain Freeride World Tour and guiding whitewater rafting in the summers. She became a professional big mountain skier and over the next few years developed the proper safety and guiding skills to be hired as a backcountry guide in the mountains and on rivers full time.
Lynn has guided or taught almost every activity you can do outside including yoga. She is a queen with logistics, is approachable, chill, fit, and strives to connect and find common ground with every guest. She wants every guest to have their best day in the outdoors.
Lynn has been a heli-ski guide for 12 years in Alaska. She is currently a full time backcountry guide at Jackson Hole Mountain resort and for Pulseline in the spring. She guides Antique wooden river boat tours for JH Vintage Adventures in the summer and also guides multi sport trips for Adventurers in Good Company.
Lynn has traveled to over 25 countries trying to make a difference in peoples’ everyday habits. A proponent for the environment, she is trying to take the steps to be as environmentally savvy as possible and make it infectious for others to adopt.
