The Best Skiing This Corner of the World Has to Offer

Welcome to another exhilarating season of heli-skiing with Pulseline Adventure in the breathtaking Chugach range of Valdez, Alaska!

We’re already two weeks into this incredible season, and the conditions have been nothing short of spectacular. With an impressive 75% flight rate so far, we’ve been fortunate enough to experience some of the best skiing this corner of the world has to offer.

Our current elevation coverage above 1500 meters has been nothing short of remarkable. The cold temperatures at higher elevations have maintained a healthy and robust snowpack, which is deeper than we could have ever anticipated. Just last week, we dug down a meter and a half and still couldn’t reach the bottom! With a snow accumulation of over 320 cm, we’ve been having an absolute blast carving fresh, untracked turns.

Evan, a lead guide, shared one of his highlights from this season: an awe-inspiring day of 12 runs within the forest service territory. He described it as a stand out day that showcased the diverse terrain and exceptional quality of the snow. He went on to say that the skiing this season has been stellar, with excellent snow stability throughout.

With recent snowfall accumulations of a few more feet, we’re confident that the coming weeks will offer even more outstanding skiing opportunities. As April approaches, we anticipate finding even better conditions, with longer days providing ample time for exploration in the breathtaking Chugach Range. The sheer scale and magnitude of this area are truly awe-inspiring, offering thousands of square miles for Pulseline guests to immerse themselves in.

We still have a few remaining seats for our heli-ski adventures. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a spirited novice, now is the perfect time to experience the thrill of the mountains. The snowfall promises to continue improving as we move into spring, so don’t miss your chance to be a part of this incredible experience with Pulseline Adventure!
