Pulseline Partners With Mountain Tactical Institute

Pulseline is excited to announce a partnership with Mountain Tactical Institute (MTI), provider of Mission Direct Programming for mountain and tactical athletes, to bring customized, fitness programming to Pulseline's heli-ski guests. With this partnership, Pulseline skiers will have free access to an intense, limited-equipment, 5-week training program designed to prepare them for their heli-ski trip to Alaska.

Heli-ski trips require ski-specific training for peak physical strength and endurance. Guests may ski upwards of 40,000 vertical feet per day of powder on multiple, successive days, and the athlete fitness of the group can make or break a trip. MTI's heli-fitness program was designed with major contribution from Pulseline's Lead Guides to ensure that heli-skiers have the stamina and fitness required to maximize their trip and prevent injuries.

"Any descent in Alaska requires total commitment to fitness," says Pulseline guest Colin Davidson, who has heli-skied around the world and repeatedly returns to rip Alaska's unique snow and terrain. "Pulseline's partnership with MTI underscores the company's professional commitment to giving guests the best possible experiences in Alaska. When the conditions and weather align for those perfect Alaska days, you don't want fitness to hold you or your group back."

MTI has extensive experience developing mission-specific training programs for special forces, fire and rescue athletes, and those seeking specific objectives in the mountains, among others. MTI's library of 250+ fitness plans for mountain, tactical, and recreational athletes is unmatched.

"Rob's level of dedication to analyzing and researching the fitness components of specific athletic endeavors is unparalleled in the industry," says Geoff Perusse, Senior Guide at Pulseline who has relied on MTI for years to be in peak fitness for professional guiding. "This is a unique opportunity for Pulseline's Alaska guests to access fitness training custom-designed just for their heli-ski trip."
